WGA on the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act of 2026
"Western Governors have long called for Congress and the administration to streamline the review of critical infrastructure projects and land management activities to improve permitting processes," WGA Executive Director Jack Waldorf said. "Western Governors are encouraged by the Senate’s progress toward developing bipartisan permitting reform legislation, and they look forward to working to incorporate state feedback and advance western priorities in the spirit of cooperative federalism as the bill moves forward."
